Women in African Investments (WAI Group)
is a peer-to-peer learning group for women executives in the African investment industry. Using WhatsApp as a platform, the WAI Group has 255 members who interact on daily burning issues such as gender lens investing, impact measurement, ethics, fintech innovations, and financial inclusion. Collectively the WAI Group influences several narratives and ensures women have a voice at major industry events.
Emerging Fund Managers Group
is a sub-group of WAI that works to connect and support first-time and emerging female fund managers launching and managing investment funds focused on African markets. The group provides opportunities for networking, knowledge-sharing and co-investment among its members.
