A project sponsor may acquire equipment through a crowdfunded leasing operation. The contract allows the crowdinvestors to purchase the equipment and rent it to the project sponsor who uses it for a given period of time, after which the project sponsor purchases the equipment from the crowdinvestors. The project sponsor shall pay the crowdinvestor an agreed upon rental fee for the duration of the leasing.
